January 27, 2023 Do you have a third ramp? Not at this time. We are looking at the ability to add a third ramp to help with snowmobiles and other equipment. You can however buy an aftermarket ramp and keep it in the back of the truck until then.
January 27, 2023 Does this change the inside dimensions of the box? No. There is no bed intrusion from the BringIt ToolGate. You have just as much room as you did with your factory tailgate.
January 27, 2023 How long are the ramps? 52″. You are thinking: “That’s too short”. But hang on… The ramps are designed to fit INSIDE the tailgate. That means they can only be as long as the gate is wide. But, when attached to the Elongator Extension in the ramp loading position this gives you 6 foot ramps at an angle of 27 degrees. It is designed based on a 2 inch lift (standard OEM 4×4 lift). Anything higher than a standard lift will result in a steeper angle. But if you have a higher lift you are used to this already, right?
December 13, 2021 Tell me about color matching By default, every BringIt™ Tailgate comes with a matt black skin. This skin is UV protected so it will not fade. But you do have the option of having it color matched for your truck. This is a very popular option If you select this option after the order is confirmed you will receive an email asking for your VIN. We use this number to determine the exact color your tailgate needs to be painted. As with any color match, results can vary based on the age of your truck. The older your truck is the more chance it has experienced some fade in the paint. We match to the factory color. There’s a slight chance that the tailgate will be a little brighter looking than the rest of your truck. The way to get the most perfect match is to order the tailgate unpainted and then have your local shop color match your tailgate specifically which will take into the account the paint fade. However, this means the tailgate has to be disassembled, painted and reassembled. The majority of our customers prefer having us paint the gate in advance so they can just put it on the truck and be done with it.
July 6, 2021 How does the SwitchBack Camera system work? There are two cameras in the tailgate. One is the traditional backup camera that shows the bumper/trailer hitch view. When the tailgate is up, and the truck is in reverse, this camera is active. The second camera is at the top of the tailgate pointed towards the sky. When the tailgate is closed, this camera is off. When the tailgate is lowered past 45 degrees the traditional camera turns off and the “top” camera automatically activates. The camera display always shows the active camera.

June 23, 2021 Can I order the BringIt Tailgate without ramps? No. The ramps are part of our integrated, multifunction system and “ride inside” every tailgate we make. Besides, you never know when you might need them. . And, with BringIt, you’ll always have them with you.
June 23, 2021 When the BringIt Tailgate is closed do the ramps rattle when driving? Nope. The BringIt Tailgate has been engineered specifically to avoid any ramp rattling. The ramps nest together snugly in the ramp compartment. The extension then folds down to hold the ramps in even more tightly. Finally, the extension has been designed so that the bottom gets “pinched” between the back of the truck cargo bed and the bottom of the BringIt Tailgate. Nothing can move, nothing can rattle, nothing can fall out.
