BY DEFAULT, EVERY BRINGIT® TAILGATE COMES WITH A MATT BLACK SKIN.But you do have the option of having it color matched. It’s ready to go right out of the box. Every BringIt TOOLGate exterior skin is made from high-impact, UV-protected ABS. Default Skin: Matt Black If you decide you don’t want color on your tailgate it will come Matt black. The finish is very similar to fender flares. There is also a UV coating that will protect it from fading if you decide not to paint it. It is prepped and ready for paint if you decide to do that later. But colormatch looks even better! As you know, how the tailgate looks on your truck is one of the most important things. We don’t leave anything to chance with this element. We use a high-end paint shop. They do an outstanding job and really produce a beautiful tailgate skin for you. As with any color match, results can vary based on the age of your truck. The older your truck is the more chance it has experienced some fade in the paint. We match to the factory color.
